Product Introduction

CVCI's Steel Packing Woven Fabric paper features a multi-layer composite structure with a basis weight of 160 g/m² (±5%). It possesses a longitudinal tensile strength (MD) of ≥ 6.0 kN/m and a transverse tensile strength (CD) of ≥ 3.0 kN/m, enabling it to withstand the tensile forces and stresses generated during the packaging of steel coils. With a puncture strength of ≥ 2.4 J, it effectively prevents packaging damage caused by sharp corners, edges, or external impact forces. These specifications make it particularly well-suited for high-weight and high-risk transport scenarios involving cargo such as steel coils and metal sheets.

Due to the use of VCI technology, it is capable of keeping the metal surfaces away from rust formation during transportation and storage, which, therefore, results in the security of product transport and the stability of storage.

Usage Instructions

  • It is essential to keep the metal surface clean, dry, and without any oil stains or moisture residues.

  • In the process of cutting and packaging, the Woven Reinforced Anti Rust Paper should be kept uncontaminated (e.g., by stepping on it, or through contact with dust or perspiration).

  • At the time of packaging, the Steel coil VCI paper should be oriented such that its protective side (the side without the non-woven fabric) is facing the metal surface.

  • During the packaging process, besides the metal and the anti-rust material, avoid direct contact of bare hands with the interface.

  • Preserve the packaging mask so that it is not damaged or air can enter.

  • When the packaging is open, the material should be used immediately; if there is any remnant, close the package tightly before placing it in the storage.

Storage Requirements

Steel‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Packing Woven Fabric Paper should be stored in a warehouse that is cool, dry, and protected from rain. The paper must be kept away from ground moisture and should not be exposed to direct sunlight or in contact with corrosive substances like acids and alkalis. To lessen the effect of moisture, it is advised to keep a distance of at least 0.1 meters between the product and the floor during storage. The temperature inside the warehouse should be kept below 40°C, and the relative humidity should be less than 85%. If these storage conditions are followed, the product will last for three years from the production ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌date.
